Everyday moments can help children feel connected, capable, and ready to learn.
Ask about one good moment and one challenge. Give your child time to share before working on a solution together.
Plan for mornings, schoolwork, and rest. Choose one manageable habit and practice it together.
Set a clear goal, check in on progress, and recognize effort. When something goes wrong, help your child identify a next step.
Character in everyday moments

Resilience, Integrity, Service, and Excellence grow through practice. Pick a question and make it your own.
Listen, share an example from your own day, and choose one small action together.
Talk about a challenge and what might help next time. Remind your child that asking for help and trying again are ways to keep growing.
Notice a moment of honesty or responsibility. Talk about why that choice mattered, even if nobody else noticed.
Choose a small action, such as helping a classmate or sharing a task at home. Talk about how your actions can support someone else.
Celebrate effort and progress. Ask what your child would like to practice or improve next.
